I'm sure we've all seen the NYT list of the 100 best books of the 21st century and perhaps some of you caught the second list, Readers Pick their Best Books of the 21st century, after all the comments the newspaper got about the first one.
Valentine’s Day draws close, and what better way to celebrate than by reading some romance? Since I haven’t done an end-of-year reading post, I thought I’d recommend my favourite romance reads of 2019:

I then immediately proceeded to read about thirty romance stories in the next year, and I’m here to tell you why you should try the genre, even if you haven’t read any so far and especially if you hesitate to do so because of all the stereotypes that abound about romance novels.
